FAQs
Does this towel shed lint?
This towel can produce lint when first used because of our environmentally friendly approach. Non-organic towels receive a harsh chemical wash to remove lint after manufacturing. We do a gentle post-manufacturing wash, which is much better for the earth but increases the likelihood of some lint remaining for the first several uses of the towel. Over time the lint will decrease. To help speed up the reduction of lint, ensure your dryer lint screens are clean, good drying will help remove the lint. Ensure you dry on delicate, though, as the strength of some American washing machines can exacerbate the problem.
What do I do with pulled threads?
These towels are made using a looping weave. If something catches on the loops, they can turn into runs. These can be snipped off with shears to stop further pulling. This can be repeated as necessary and should not impact the integrity of the weave.
End of Life Instructions
Recycle in textile recycling or compost.
