Alternative to disposable tampons, pads, and panty liners.

The Saalt Disc, at your cervix™, is designed to be the most comfortable and easiest reusable disc to insert and remove. Because the Saalt Disc doesn’t rely on suction to seal and positions behind your pubic bone, it’s ideal for those with bladder sensitivities, a weak pelvic floor, or a low or high cervix.

Includes a custom finger notch that makes removal a breeze. What’s not to love?

Benefits:

  • Maintains your natural pH
  • High-capacity
  • 12 hours of protection, day and night
  • Reusable for up to 10 years
  • Can be worn during sex.
  • BPA and Latex Free
  • Made in the USA
  • Certified Plastic-Negative
  • Includes one disc + one carry bag

How It Works: The Saalt Disc is inserted like a tampon, but collects rather than absorbs your flow. The disc rests around the cervix for leak-free comfort, all day or night. Flexible, flat fit allows for mess-free intimacy.

Care Instructions

Sanitize your disc before first use and before or after each period. You can do this by boiling your disc, wiping with 70% isopropyl alcohol, or using the Saalt Compact Sanitizer.

During your period, you will want to clean your disc at least once every 12 hours. You can do so by rinsing the disc with cold water (to prevent staining) and then washing the disc with hot water and a wash that is mild, pH-balanced, fragrance-free, oil-free, and rinses clean with no residue.

End of Life Instructions

Menstrual cup should last for years. The paper box can be recycled. Plastic window can be separated and placed in landfill trash. As for the cup itself, we recommend reaching out to your local recycling facilities to see if they recycle medical-grade silicone. If not, the best option is actually to burn the cup outdoors. Burning silicone is rather safe since silicone dioxide is basically sand and glass. It will produce some CO2, but on a very small scale.
