End of Life Instructions
-
Clean and Recycle (Glass Only):
- Empty the bottle: Pour out the remaining polish onto a scrap of newspaper to dry.
- Clean with remover: Add acetone or nail polish thinner to the bottle, shake it, and pour the contents onto a paper towel. Repeat until the liquid is clear.
- Separate components: The glass bottle can be placed in your recycling bin, but the brush and plastic cap should be thrown in the trash.
- Household Hazardous Waste: Because nail polish contains chemicals, it is considered hazardous waste. Check your local county website for specialized drop-off locations if you do not want to clean them.
- Upcycle into mini vases or reuse to store small things like glitter.
