This tortilla press is made in Mexico from old Singer sewing machines and other recycled irons. The artisans chose to use cast iron because it gives you uniform, flat tortillas - and lasts forever. Plus Verve Culture added some flare with a bright enamel coating that prevents rust.

Use Instructions
Mix equal parts masa corn flour (widely available in grocery stores) with water; make a golf ball-sized dough. Line the press with parchment paper or a ziploc bag cut down the sides. Place the dough in between the paper/plastic, and close the press. Press once, rotate, and gently press again. Cook ~1 minute on each side.
