Use Instructions
The proprietary High-Fidelity Wave Brush features a dip in the middle for a mess-free application that builds all lash types upward and outward without caking or clumping. Look up, place the brush at the base of your upper lashes, and gently wiggle it back and forth until the base of each lash is evenly coated. Moving slowly to avoid clumping, pull the brush up until lashes are evenly coated from base to tip. One coat provides natural-looking length and volume. For a more dramatic look, apply additional coats as needed.
Wipe off any excess product on the edge of the tube prior to application. To prevent drying out the product, avoid pumping the wand in and out of the tube. Switching out your mascara every three months can help combat dryness, redness, and irritation from bacterial buildup or environmental stressors like wildfire smoke and pollution.
End-of-Life Recommendations
Send it back to Izzy to be sterilized and re-used. Purchase a reusable mailer with a return label to use this option. You can also save up your empties to send multiple back at the same time.
Where It Comes From
Izzy is a woman-owned company based in New York City and was founded by Shannon Goldberg with the goal of creating a zero-waste beauty brand that would contribute to a brighter future, and provide beauty products that were clean, planet-friendly, and performance-driven.
Their products contain 94% less plastic than leading brands, and the plastic they do use is reground and recycled at their facility. Even the water from their patent-pending antibacterial cleansing process is reused, rather than dumped into the ocean.
All of their manufacturing takes place within a 400-mile radius, which means that their carbon emissions from transportation alone are exponentially lower than those of any other beauty brand. Compared to the industry standard, their products have a 78% smaller carbon footprint after 25 refills.
Not only are their products formulated by the same filler that currently services some of the world’s leading prestige beauty brands, but they are clean, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, and free of gluten, GMOs, alcohol, oil, parabens, phthalates, silicone, and talc.
Izzy also donates a portion of proceeds from every purchase to three foundations that inspire them: the National Forest Foundation, Her Justice and Pencils of Promise.
