Use Instructions

The nixit menstrual cup sits above the vaginal canal, different from tampons or other menstrual cups. It holds itself in place naturally without suction.

It can take a couple of cycles to get into your rhythm.

Before your first use, boil in water for 5 minutes.

To insert, hold between your thumb and forefinger to squeeze. Insert by sliding it back and down toward the tailbone. Push the front rim to tuck it up and check.

To remove, untuck the front rim and gently pull it out.

End of Life Instructions

Menstrual cup should last for years. The paper box can be recycled. As for the cup itself, we recommend reaching out to your local recycling facilities to see if they recycle medical-grade silicone. If not, the best option is actually to burn the cup outdoors. Burning silicone is rather safe since silicone dioxide is basically sand and glass. It will produce some CO2, but on a very small scale.
